Suspense and success
There was a lot of suspense at the Swiss start-up when it came to the ‘Security & Safety Abroad’ category at the DAME Awards in Amsterdam. Rico Dürst, founder and CEO of AirMarker, was nominated with the R.Four and was now awaiting the judgement of the jury.
The DAME Awards traditionally take place as part of Metstrade, the world's largest trade fair for materials and systems for the global leisure marine industry. It is aimed at yacht builders, naval architects, refit yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina owners and manufacturers of marine equipment.
Thanks to the DAME Awards jury's high level of expertise in the fields of naval architecture, boat design, interior design, user application and the marine market, their judgement is internationally recognised and appreciated. The jury's criteria are overall design, build quality, functionality and materials used, as well as originality, ergonomics and price-performance ratio.
